Senior Software Engineer – Java EE and Web Technologies

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

Requirements

• 6+ years of software design experience, including extensive success in Java software development
• Strong knowledge of client-side W3C technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, DOM, and HTML
• Creative problem-solving skills and a drive to innovate
• Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into carefully designed and well-authored code
• An excitement about learning, growing, and being on the ground floor of a great startup opportunity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A positive approach to working in a small team environment, along with a sense of fun!

Preferred

• Experience with Java EE technologies such as JMS, JMX, and EJB
• Proficiency using or designing Java or Ajax user interface toolkits
• Browser plug-in development expertise, including Firefox Add-ons
• Commitment to a public industry presence: speaking engagements, authoring, standards body participation
• User interface design experience
